Up to now the City Council has been quietly
changing the General Plan Update from the version submitted by the full
committee to one they personally prefer. On Tuesday night they will
consider the Circulation and Land Use Elements, both areas which have
generated many a battle here and demand serious expertise to protect the
City in the long term. Whatever they decide, we will have to live with it
for a long time. This is a good time to attend a City Council meeting!
