About

Sandra Ericson was the volunteer administrator for this site when it was operating. This is a mirror of the original site which serves as an archive of the information.

"My political involvement began in Marin County when I was 33 and ran as a recall candidate in a local fire district election, holding that office through two terms. After that I served on the Marin Disaster Preparedness Board and the Marin Grand Jury before moving to St. Helena. In Napa County, I was elected to the Napa Valley College Board of Trustees and served 3 terms, 12 years. In St. Helena, I served for almost 9 years, 7 as Chair, of the Climate Protection Task Force and I was appointed to the Planning Commission for one term. Professionally, I was on faculty and Dept. Chair for the Consumer Arts and Science Dept. at City College of San Francisco for 31 years and currently direct an online pattern design business, the Center for Pattern Design. My family arrived in 1964 and my Mom was the first woman mayor of St. Helena -- and somewhere along the line, I also served as President of the now extinct St. Helena Home Winemakers for a year."
